chastity, abortion methods and culture, motivate young people, winning the debate, and much more.
Melanie Welsch Pritchard: With a an undergraduate degree in English and a
master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Melanie Welsch Pritchard taught at
both the high school and college levels. She is currently the Education Director for
the Life Educational Corporation. In addition to this, Melanie started “The
Underground Project” (www.theundergroundproject.com), a pro-life organization
that plans events to help the youth and young adults become actively involved in
the pro-life Movement. She has spoken to thousands of youth and young adults at
many churches, schools and organizations. Topics Melanie frequently speaks on
are abortion, chastity, modesty and the value and dignity of life.
John J. Jakubczyk:. John J. Jakubczyk has been active in the pro-life movement
since 1975. An attorney in private practice for over 28 years, John has represented
pro-life individuals and organizations, defended sidewalk counselors and activists,
and advocated for women exploited by abortion profiteers. Past president of
Arizona Right to Life, founder of Southwest Life and Law Center, and Life
Educational Corporation, advisor to boards of national pro-life organizations, he is
an active Roman Catholic and 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. A founder, past
president and trustee for 15 years of Ville de Marie Academy, an independent
private Catholic K- 12 school in Scottsdale Arizona, John and his wife Petra are
parents to eleven (11) children. John is currently president of Life Educational
Corporation.
Dr. Carolyn Gerster: Dr. Carolyn Gerster is a physician in active practice with her
husband, Dr. Josef Gerster, specializing in internal medicine. In 1971 she became
co-founder and first president of the Arizona Right to Life Committee, where she
currently is serving as Chairman of the Board. Since 1973, Dr. Gerster has
represented the State of Arizona as director to Washington-based National Right to
Life Committee. She has addressed universities and graduate schools and has
testified before U.S. Senate committees and state legislatures on abortion and
euthanasia. She has spoken to pro-life audiences in 48 states and overseas in New
Zealand, Australia, British Columbia, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland,
Mexico, and Kenya.
Trent Horn: With a razor sharp intellect and friendly demeanor, Trent engages
audiences both intellectually and emotionally about the issue of abortion. A
graduate of Arizona State University with a B.A. in History and a minor in
Philosophy, Trent breaks down the pro-life position’s toughest objections and
presents the case against abortion, euthanasia, and embryonic stem cell research
in a clear and memorable way for both friendly audiences and hostile critics. He has
given dozens of public presentations and he currently promotes the pro-life cause
as the Programs Manager for Arizona Right to Life.
